Allie Thiessen


Softball at Central Washington University  

  • Allie is currently in her second year at Central Washington University and playing for the Wildcats as the centre and right field.

  • Her love for the sport started with the Chilliwack Mayhem team playing catcher. 

  • She is double majoring in Social Services and Psychology. Hoping to take her masters in Social Work in Prince George to then do clinical Social Work in Hospitals. 

  • Allie signed with Central in Grade 11 and her favourite part of being apart of a University team is the atmosphere. She loves how everyone has the same goals and puts in all of their effort to make the team work, as well as the incredible coaching staff. 

Rhys Sloan


Soccer with Whitecaps U15 Team

  • Rhys is currently in Grade 9 at University Hill Secondary School at UBC. He plays soccer for the Whitecaps residency U15 Team as the full back. 

  • He has been playing soccer for 11 years and is loving playing for the Whitecaps.

  • His goal is to continue playing soccer at UCLA or Oregon State, play soccer professionally and then become a physiotherapist. 

mitchell Thiessen


Golf at Rocky Mountain College

  • Mitchell just completed his senior year at Rocky Mountain College, majoring in sports management and minoring in exercise science.

  • He plans to play professionally, meanwhile he trains at his home course, Chilliwack Golf and Country Club.

  • Coached locally by Jennifer Gregen, then to Vancouver for coaching from Matt Palsenbarg.

  • His dream is to turn pro and play professionally in the states in hopes to work with The Rocky Mountain College Golf team after he is done schooling.
